Focus on something you want and the universe will help you go for it, reach it, achieve it. The reverse also holds true. Allowing your thoughts to defeat you will only weaken your chances to succeed.
Do your extra pounds make you feel anxious? Are you uncomfortable in your now tight-fitting clothes? Scared to attend social gatherings for fear of people noticing you gained weight? These may just be some of the negative thoughts haunting you this very moment.
Regretting and blaming yourself will not help. Negative thoughts will only sabotage your willpower to change your unhealthy habits.
You may start thinking that it does not matter anymore if you eat that one slice of leftover pizza in the fridge or if you watch TV and be a couch potato for hours on a Sunday since you’re already overweight and those little things won’t be noticeable after all.

The key to natural weight loss through positive thinking is having the “I can do it!” attitude. Believing in what you can do will help you live a healthier lifestyle and maintain it all throughout.
You have the choice to maneuver your thoughts into positive or negative directions. You are in control. Of course there will be times when frustration, depression, and anxiety will come your way and obstruct your goals. Learn how to befriend these sneaky thoughts, find within you the reason why they pay you a visit.
Is it because you still cannot wear your little black dress? Saw an old friend who’s still as skinny as she was in college? Counter these thoughts into positive, optimistic ones and you will be able to maintain your motivation and be at peace with yourself.
Think that in just a few weeks or months, your little black dress will look great on you again and you will be as fit as your old friend, too. Positive thinking does wonders. Believe you can!
